Description

Pine Lodge is a lovely two-story family cabin located in peaceful Tahoma. Access to the private beach and pier make this home a perfect stay for your family. The beach is a 9 minute walk straight down Pine Street. This is a private home that is often used by the owners. It is lovingly appointed in “Tahoe Style”, updated and cared for to ensure a cozy stay. Pine Lodge sleeps 8 with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The tiled entry way, full kitchen, family room, and laundry room are on the first floor, as well as one bathroom, and carpeted primary bedroom with a king bed. Beautiful new Tartan carpeting leads you upstairs where you will find a king and two twins, and bathroom, and a queen bed in the third room. There is wifi & TV in the living room, and a closet full of games is upstairs. The lovely private deck is adorned with a gorgeous 8’ table for outdoor dining, heat lamps, market umbrellas and comfortable outdoor seating. String lights provide ambiance for your summer nights on the deck which also holds a large 4-burner propane BBQ.

This quiet west shore home is in the middle of all the action! Choose from the private beach or the extensive bike paths along the west shore and down the Truckee River, Homewood Ski Resort (2.6 miles, 5 min drive) is up the road for winter fun. Alpine Ski Resort and Squaw Valley Resort are also nearby. The Rubicon trail head is 3.5 miles away for 4-wheeling or snowmobiling, and DL Bliss State Park is just down the road for a lovely hike to Emerald Bay! We are right next to Sugarpine Point State Park/Beach which is a lovely destination for a spring, summer or fall bike ride or miles of hiking, and Emerald Bay is 10 miles south. Beautifully remodeled and newly opened Tahoma Market and Deli can supply your grocery needs as well as delicious sandwiches for all the picnics you’ll be having. Nearby restaurants include Chambers Landing, West Shore Cafe, and Sunnyside Restaurant. Firesign for breakfast is a local favorite as well as Spoon. The Village at Squaw Valley also boasts wonderful dining options, an aerial tram and a variety of activities, and don’t forget to explore Truckee for it’s hip new shops and amazing dining options.

Beautiful home and all of our travel party fit comfortably There were 5 adults and 1 infant. Clothes dryer did not heat and once 1st Accomadations was notified they sent some one quickly who in turn found a repair man to fix but that didn't happen for another 2 days. I did receive some reimbursement from the property owner for this inconvenience. The location was great and access was easy in and out. Quiet neighborhood and only had a black bear go through property once Haha we weren't in the house, but party observed it from road while walking back to property. Common wildlife in the area and non-threatening if left alone.

We had a great stay. The house was cute and had plenty of room for the 7 of us and 2 dogs. We had everything we needed there. My husband enjoyed sitting on the patio. It was a very enjoyable stay!

We had a wonderful time staying at Pine Lodge over the winter. The house was very cozy, had a well stocked kitchen, thoughtful design, and was a great place to relax after a long day of skiing. I would definitely come back to stay!
