At 8,200 feet elevation, admire the beauty of the Sierra Nevada Mountains with views of Lake Tahoe and Squaw Valley's legendary granite peaks. In the Aerial Tram building lobby, kids and grownups can have a blast climbing the variety of routes on the 30’ simulated Headwall Climbing Wall. If you dare, learn how to do a front or back somersault at Skyjump; all ages are welcome.

Our retreat into the mountains was cozy as can be! Beautiful views, lovely fireplace for cold nights after long amazing days by the lake in the sun, and friendly helpful staff along the way too! We did not want to leave! Can't wait to come back soon for more adventures!

We have been staying at CW for over 30 years. In general, this unit has nice colors and finishes and is updated. However, I would suggest a few changes. The lighting is poor in the bedrooms and LR. Adding a track light across the beam over the LR will provide much better general light. The two lamps are very dim. Same in bedrooms. In master, I suggest a floor lamp plugged into the switched outlet. In the loft, change the ceiling fan to one with a light overhead controlled with a remote. More towel bars are needed. I suggest adding one just outside the bathroom doors due to the limited wall space. Silverware is rather sparse. 6 forks, knives and spoons. Adding door pulls to cabinets doors will make it easier to open the cabinets and reduce wear on the finish. The DW has a lot of built-up residue inside. I suggest using liquid DW soap and providing rinse aid to reduce the scum inside. Grocery storage is minimal. There is a missed opportunity for adding a pantry cabinet at the right end of the kitchen millwork. Downstairs shower door doesn't slide, needs repair. TP holder is VERY hard to access while sitting. Move to wall in front of toilet. The cabinet with TV in loft seems like it is ready to fall apart. This should be replaced or tightened if possible. The LR TV is awkward to use, not user friendly. We figured it out, but non-tech users would be frustrated. As another reviewer mentioned, printed instructions would be very helpful. As a last thought, a cabinet like an armoire located under the stairs would serve well to organize linens in a central place instead of being jammed into the closet in plastic garbage bags. All said, still a nice unit and beds are comfortable.

This condo was a great place to stay for a ski trip. 25 minute drive to Palisades and close to town as well. Had all the features of a good rental including a capable kitchen, clean bathrooms, comfortable beds, and in-unit washer/dryer. However, the reason we chose this place was because of the access to a hot tub. Unlike what is listed on VRBO or the communities website, the hot tub is only open on Friday and Saturdays. You can’t bring any drinks outside, even a covered water bottle like a hydro flask. The staff attendant in the main facility is not amenable to even leaving your bottle in the locker room which was odd. If you plan to stay here, keep that in mind. Also, if you plan to stay in the winter, make sure your car has 4 wheel drive and winter tires. Our 4-wheel drive Suburban with inadequate tries couldn’t get up the large hill to the condo during a mild snow storm.

Rented this property for the weekend. Came with my 7 year old daughter. The condo was very clean. The furniture and bed was very comfy. The complex was perfectly quiet and we felt safe during our stay. (Kind of a big deal for a mom and little one traveling alone). The correspondence between the property managers was great. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely rent again.

From the reservation to check out, this was one of the best vacations our family has had. Location was perfect. Hiking trails one way, and the beach the next. Unit was cleaned we felt extremely comfortable even during Covid.
Rental management was very responsive any questions or concerns regarding our stay. Unit was updated and fully stocked with all amenities that we'd need. Complex was so quiet and peaceful. Can't wait to return!

Stayed in this HOA location many times over the years. It’s a great spot. My only issues: there is a towel bar in downstairs bathroom that is not correctly installed and keeps falling and the trim at top of dish washer has an issue too. Simple fixes that need to be resolved. The managers didn’t disclose lack of pool and club house access prior to booking. Also, the property booking process doesn’t ask that you be of a certain age, however after booking they make you confirm your an adult before accepting your request. This isn’t an ideal process and needs improvement.
