Cozy Cabin

There are 5 hairpin turns and a short bridge with no rails that are tricky to navigate at night because it is pitch black. We also hit a patch of black ice on the morning we left and almost went head on into an oncoming van. So my advice to you if this is a concern is: traveling the other direction around the north side of the lake is a viable option. We turned around and didn't chance the turns and bridge with the icy roads. There is also civilization when you get into Tahoe City. There is none between South Lake Tahoe and Tahoma.
I agree with another reviewer that the accommodation is more for 2 people than 4. The couch bed was AWFUL and gave my 10yr old a link in her neck that she still feels 3 days later. She was partially paralyzed that morning until she forced herself to get up and move around. We brought a camping cot for my 7yr old just in case. He ended up sleeping on that, my 10yr old in the bed with me, and my husband on the couch (not the couch bed), which was comfortable.
In all, I would definitely stay here again. I just wouldn't bother with the couch bed.
I loved this cabin. The gas fireplace acts as part of the heating system and runs off the thermostat, which was a great feature. The backyard was a great place for our kids, ages 7 and 10, to play in the snow. The kitchen amenities were nice and allowed us to cook our meals. Beautiful part of the lake with lovely diners around. Walking distant to the lake and beautiful trails to enjoy. We would love to stay at this property again in the future.

We like that it was close to everything we wanted to see and do while staying in Tahoma. We even had a pleasant surprise as two beautiful bears came up on the deck to see what was going on.

The mt biking trails from the house are so convenient and fun to ride. The management company was very accommodating when needed. I hope the owners decide to put a little bit of money into this little gem of a 's starting to look a little tired. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it to friends and family. Oh, can't forget the bears! They are there just waiting for you to leave something out of interest. Everyday mama and baby would stroll through the neighborhood looking for their next snack.

Very hard to pull out and in and one corner is on a slope. The springs need work. Could use a new pull out!

Clean, cozy, cute Tahoma cabin

We loved the smart TV, faux wood burning stove, stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and bathroom with claw foot tub! Also, we got to bring our two dogs- which was a plus. Check in and check out was easy and smooth. Would love to come back.

Has everything you could need with comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen and really nice bath. With nice deck and yard in the back. We really enjoyed our anniversary trip to the area and this rental was just what we were looking for. Easy to find and mid-way along the west side of Lake Tahoe it is a short drive to north or south Lake Tahoe. Countless hiking options in the area and though we are not skiers it is a short drive to at least 3 or 4 ski resorts/slopes. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a great place to stay for a winter getaway. The place is a great size for 2 people (and our dog). We enjoyed how close it was to the State Park for hiking in the snow. We also loved how far it was from the highway - SO quiet and relaxing. <br/><br/>The house has everything you need. It's clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked! I wish the backyard was fenced in for our dog.

Great spot, cozy house

The backyard was great for snowball fights and relaxing in the evening, and our dog loved the walks nearby. Bathtub was a wonderful treat after a day in the snow, and the beds were comfortable. Only complaint is that the windows in the bedroom let in too much light - the drapes don't do anything to block light! But overall a great stay!

Sweet Mountain Cottage

We found the bed and the sofa to be very comfortable. Our dog loved the backyard (since it’s unfenced, we let him roam on a 50 ft lead for safety). We cooked several times in the kitchen and found everything we needed there. 10/10 would come back!

Charming Cottage in Tahoe's Beautiful West Shore

The location is in a quiet residential area and the cottage is fairly closely surrounded by other cabins and structures, but still felt private and quiet. Overall, the space is very nicely decorated, modern and cozy. Plenty of entertainment options including a few board games and a smart TV that's ready to go with Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime (no login required!). The kitchen is quite functional and decently stocked with tools and cooking essentials, and I loved the claw foot tub for post-ski soaks. Parking was super easy as well. A few misses were the pillows on the bed, they felt like cheap air mattress pillows and were extremely uncomfortable (esp since the mattress was also very firm), I wish I brought my own; and the rain shower is at a weird angle so it can feel a bit claustrophobic in the shower if you're relatively long limbed. Minus those few things, I would definitely stay again, especially with a friend or partner since it's well suited for a romantic getaway.

The house was decorated and fully stocked with anything and everything we could need. The manager provided amazing assistance and great directions and instructions. We loved this location because it is not in the tourist, busy South Lake area, but it is close enough to still enjoy everything the lake has to offer. It is a quiet, friendly neighborhood with the lake about 3 minutes from the property. We hope to be able to make it back and stay at this same property because we loved it so much. Highly recommend!!!

Perfect Cozy Cabin
Reviewed on 2019-03-24 by , United StatesWe had a great week in Tahoma, the cabin was perfect for the two of us and our dog. Drive to Squaw Valley was around 28 minutes, but I ended up skiing most my days at Homewood (5 minutes away) which really is an undiscovered gem of a mountain.

A clean, modern and cosy property where you can tell the owners have gone the extra mile to make you feel at home. Tahoma is peaceful and well positioned for hikes and skiing. It’ll feel too warm at first but it’ll cool down. Don’t run the hot and cold — it runs out of hot water quickly and you’ll end up relaxing in ice cold water. I was determined so we ended up boiling water on the stove and adding it to the tub which totally worked it was just a little time consuming.

This storybook one bedroom, one bathroom cozy cabin is perfect for up to four guests.
A bright and open living room with comfortable seating provides a great spot for putting your feet up and enjoying the warmth and ambiance of the gas fireplace. Sip a glass of wine or a cup of hot cocoa while you unwind and read a book or watch a movie on the flat screen TV. Use the Wifi when you need to get connected.
For home-cooked meals, Easy Living features stainless steel appliances in the well-appointed kitchen, so bring your groceries! There is a bistro dining table plus room at the kitchen bar for seating.
In the charming bedroom you’ll sleep like a bear on the quality queen bed. Plenty of linens are provided to snuggle down and hibernate on the queen sofa sleeper in the living area.
After playing in Lake Tahoe or skiing down the slopes, come soak your bones in the claw-foot tub in the beautifully designed bathroom. You can pack light for your adventures, because this home includes a full-sized washer and dryer.
Outside, as the wind whispers through the pines, unwind and bask in the sun on the deck, which features a large table with six chairs. A barbeque is available Memorial Day weekend through September–weather permitting.
Venturing out? Many Lake Tahoe activities and sights are right at your doorstep!
Easy Living is close to Meeks Bay, which has a terrific sandy beach, and Chambers Landing, which also has a nice beach. Sugar Pine Point State Park is close enough to reach via a nice walk or bike ride. You won’t want to miss the icon of Lake Tahoe, Emerald Bay, a short drive away. Emerald Bay State Park boasts 360-degree picturesque views that encompass Emerald Bay, Fannette Island, Eagle Falls, and Vikingsholm Castle.
For winter activities, just a few miles down the road you’ll find Homewood, Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley Ski Resorts. The Magical West Shore has great options for whatever you fancy: snowshoeing, snowboarding, downhill or cross-country skiing, sledding, and more!
Interested in a dining option? We highly recommend the Fire Sign Cafe for breakfast and lunch.
To experience all the gambling and nightlife that the Lake Tahoe area offers, South Lake Tahoe/Stateline is about a 30-minute drive.
