Admire breathtaking views from this fabulous one bedroom plus loft end-unit in the desirable Carnelian Woods townhome complex. With space to sleep six, it’s perfect for a small family or romantic getaway. Recent upgrades include new kitchen cabinets, countertops, appliances, and flooring.

Enjoy relaxing on the covered deck and taking in the private forest setting and gorgeous Lake Tahoe view—it changes depending on the weather and time of day. Appreciate the alpenglow—German for the rosy light of the setting or rising sun seen on high mountains.

After the sunset, unwind and warm up by the fireplace with a mug of hot cocoa or a hot toddy. Get cozy on the comfortable leather sofas and unplug with a good conversation. Catch up on cable news or watch a movie on the flat panel TV with DVD player. There is Wi-Fi when you need to get connected.

Step onto the covered deck to barbeque steaks or chicken for dinner as you take advantage of the fresh air. Then finish meal prep in the well-equipped kitchen—it has everything you need to prepare a hearty breakfast, a quick snack, or a home-cooked dinner, and the dishwasher makes clean up a snap. There is seating for two at the breakfast bar and four wood chairs at the dining table.

Just around the corner, main floor laundry makes it easy to pack light. Plenty of bath and bed linens are provided. There is also a half bath, and a bedroom with a bunk bed—queen-size on the bottom and one twin-size on the top and another twin trundle.

On the second level you’ll find the master suite, which includes a queen-size bed and cozy chair. There’s an accordion partition for privacy. The full bath has a tub/shower combo.

When you’re ready to venture outside, keep everyone entertained in this perfect vacation setting. The Recreation Center / Lodge features a swimming pool, two outdoor hot tubs, locker room saunas, a game room with billiards, a video game arcade, tennis and bocce courts, and a fitness trail. The complex backs up to Tahoe National Forest, offering miles of hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and other activities year-round.

Your home away from home is in Carnelian Bay, where all North Lake Tahoe is right at your doorstep! Stroll down to Magic Carpet mini golf or check out Waterman’s Landing, located at Patton Landing Beach, a 3-acre, pebbly beach known for stand-up paddling.

To experience Lake Tahoe gambling and nightlife, Incline Village and Nevada's historic casino Crystal Bay are a short drive away, just across the state line.

Closer to home, you'll find superb dining options right in town like Gar Woods Grill and Pier for steaks and fish, the Old Post Office Coffee Shop for hearty breakfasts, and CB's Pizza for hand-tossed pies and beer.

You're only 10-12 miles from three great ski resorts—Northstar, Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley. Whether you prefer to downhill or cross-country ski, snowboard, snowshoe, or go sledding or ice skating, North Tahoe is the place for winter fun.

At Squaw Valley, after conquering the slopes, go tubing with the kids or try out the mini snowmobiles at SnoVentures Activity Zone. There are dogsledding tours too!

In every season, the Village at Squaw Valley offers dining, shopping, the Squaw Valley Aerial Tram, and a variety of activities.

This place was perfect! None of us wanted to leave! We came for spring break and it was amazing to play in the incredible amount of snow and be cozy by the fire after. I immediately booked a stay for the summer so we can play in the lake and go on even more beautiful outdoor Tahoe adventures! Cant wait to come back :) Everything described was available and more, it was clean as a whistle, wonderful customer service every step of the way! I've already told everyone I know to stay here if they come to the Lake!

This was a very comfortable and clean condo and we enjoyed our stay. It has pretty views and plenty of seating areas. The kitchen is very well equipped and new. I would give 5 stars except there were a few minor issues. When the stove exhaust fan ran it circulated rancid air so we think those filters need to be changed, the batteries were dead on the fireplace remote for the first day which meant the fire wouldn't "turn on" (this was corrected) and the hot tub/spa and games room were not open on the Sunday of a major long holiday weekend. Other than that it was fantastic, really comfortable and nicely appointed for a family of 4. I think that the add-on management fee of about $155 (when there's self check in) was a bit much.

The property is very clean, updated and great location. We enjoyed our stay with 3 teens and it was comfortable for all of us. I would highly recommend that they upgrade the master mattress, my husband ended up sleeping on the couch bc it wasn't comfortable/supportive with two adults. Other recommendations would be extra pillows as they only one provide 1 for each guest. We donated a cooler to future house guests. We flew in from KS and can't be bringing everything with is, a couple of beach chairs and beach towels would also be a beneficial for the property to provide. The kitchen is well equipped and we would stay again at this property.

First time at Lake Tahoe for skiing. It was a great experience. This location was close to Northstar about 15mins away. The property is clean, up to date, and quite. I can say I was impressed. Definitely will try and stay again.

We had a great time at this Airbnb. It’s technically a townhouse, but it felt like you’re own cabin and secluded from the rest of everyone. The inside was really nice, beds were comfy. The clubhouse and amenities were also nice to go to. All in all a great experience. I’d definitely come back!

Seriously one of the best rentals my family has stayed at. Everything has been thought out in this home. Everything you could possibly imagine needing while on vacation is present here, even down to toys for your kids! We were blown away at the attention to detail in this home. Not only that, the place was spotless.

My family and I felt very comfortable here. I am sure you will too. It is also really really close to the lake and also has a really nice view from its living room. I highly recommend.

This is a nice updated end unit, clean and quiet. I have stayed in many CW units and each is different. I believe the unit description said the fireplace is wood burning, however it is a gas fireplace controlled with a remote. This was a nice surprise and the description should be updated. There are just a few items needing attention: 1)I found the furnace air filter completely clogged and dirty! There was not a spare, but I removed it to allow air flow. 2) There are some picture hanger holes needing to be spackled. 3)The bathroom counters have been updated, but the vanities not. Why, doesn't make sense not to do the whole job? 4) The can opener is junk and doesn't work. Need a new one. 5) This is quirky, but the sliding door opens on the right side. You have to navigate around the end table and lamp at the end of the sofa to get to the door. Seems like the door should open on the left side to allow easier access to the deck, IMHO. 6) The blinds in the whole house are difficult to operate / broken and should be replaced. 7)The hot water heater is small and water goes cold after only one shower. Other units have replaced with larger size hot water tanks in the outside closet by front entry. This would be a plus for this unit to consider. 8)Just for consideration, but I would add a second window in kids room to offer better ventilation in summer months.

I did like this unit and it met my expectations. I would stay in it again.

The unit was wonderful; exactly as described. Cozy, clean, and perfect for our family of four.

Our only suggestion would be to rent tennis racquets and bocce balls to vacationers so that we could use the amenities of the complex.

This condo was very clean and well decorated and had all the comforts of home. Quite cozy and a nice book that thoroughly explained everything. The only thing I was frustrated with was the heater and hoe incredibly loud it was. The heater vent also is right next to the master bed so it’s right in your ear while trying to sleep. I ended up turning it way down and using the fireplace as a heat source, however, while I was warm upstairs, my kids froze downstairs. Not sure if this is fixable. Also, beware of one of the fry pans, it should be thrown out as everything sticks to the pan. Overall, was very pleased, just a bit frustrated with the noise.

Our family had a great 3-night stay at the accommodation this December. The house was clean and homey and had every amenity we could ask for, including laundry machines, kitchen supplies, and entertainment. The location is great if you want to take a quick drive out or a long walk along the lake. Thanks for providing a cozy, comfortable home for us to enjoy our white Christmas!

Our experience was great! After being quarantined for months we decided we needed a few days away so headed up to Tahoe to finish up the work week and enjoy the weekend. The house was perfect. Great location, walkable to the lakefront and a few bars\ restaurants. Fully stocked kitchen which was great as we cooked nearly all of our meals from home and great wifi for working (video calls and all!). Only downside was the mattress up stairs was not the most comfortable, so we ended up sleeping on the large bottom bunk instead.

Perfect place for a family of 5! Clean and comfortable with everything you need. Kids were able to play in the backyard with no one around. Short drive to the lake and Safeway. Sadly the arcade was closed due to Covid. Would definitely stay here again!
