Carnelian Bay Condo

However we did have an incident where my granddaughter fractured her fingers a few days before our rental period. We asked to reschedule our stay by a couple of weeks and we were told we would completely forfeit our money and there was no accommodation for emergencies. They did say if they could re rent the property in 2 days we may get some refund. Clearly that is a very low probability. I wish due to an emergency they would have been more accommodating. We were willing to provide proof and pictures. As it was 3 of the 8 people came the 1st day and 3 came the second and we left the 2nd night. We made the best of it but the trip was ruined.

North Lake Tahoe-Carnelian Bay, CA

eating in. There was a lot of road noise heard from the rental we stayed in. The property grounds crew found there
favorite spot right outside the building we were staying, talking loud and working
on several projects, which created a good amount of noise pollution. This destroyed the "serenity" and peace we
were supposed to enjoy. The owners of this particular home have maintained it well and thankfully we were only inside
the property for a limited amount of time. The toilet paper was marginal.."thin, cheap, motel brand. I
have previously been accustomed to having better amenities, especially paying $1800 to stay.Other than that, myself and my
family enjoyed visiting North Lake Tahoe, and made many special memories to cherish. I would recommend this property to anyone with more tolerance for noise heard from outdoors from maintenance workers.

Perfect location

Great Escape - This beautifully renovated 3-bedroom located within the Carnelian Woods is sure to please.
First floor of this stylish Lake Tahoe home away from home:
The primary bedroom includes a comfortable king-size bed and features a cozy armchair and flat panel TV and patio balcony to enjoy your forest views. The guest bedroom, which is down the hall from the primary features two bunk beds. Both bedrooms share a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
Head upstairs to the living area which features an open living area with vaulted ceilings, a cozy gas fireplace, and a flat-screen TV. A charming balcony off the living room invites you to enjoy the alpine scenery. The updated kitchen is sure to please and has a delightful breakfast bar with seating for four. Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining area accommodates four guests. There is also a full bath with a tub/shower combo on this level.
Head up to the loft bedroom, where you will find a comfortable queen size murphy bed.
The grounds outside feature lovely landscaping, and there is so much to do, you'll have a hard time deciding: a game of tennis, swimming in the seasonal pool, soaking in the hot tub, playing billiards at the clubhouse, taking on the parcourse, or hiking and biking on the trails right at Carnelian Woods.
This unit is one of the closest to the lake and your home away from home is in Carnelian Bay, where all north Lake Tahoe is right at your doorstep! Stroll down to Magic Carpet mini golf or check out Waterman’s Landing, located at Patton Landing Beach, a 3-acre, pebbly beach known for stand-up paddling.
To experience Lake Tahoe gambling and nightlife, Incline Village and Nevada's historic casino Crystal Bay are a short drive away, just across the state line.
Closer to home, you'll find superb dining options right in town like Gar Woods Grill and Pier for steaks and fish, the Old Post Office Coffee Shop for hearty breakfasts, and CB's Pizza for hand-tossed pies and beer.
You're only 10-12 miles from three great ski resorts—Northstar, Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley. Whether you prefer to downhill or cross-country ski, snowboard, snowshoe, or go sledding or ice skating, North Tahoe is the place for every winter activity.
At Squaw Valley, after conquering the slopes, go tubing with the kids or try out the mini snowmobiles at SnoVentures Activity Zone. There are dogsledding tours too!

In the Aerial Tram building lobby, kids and grownups can have a blast climbing the variety of routes on the 30’ simulated Headwall Climbing Wall.
