The deck is amazing with views of the lake and lots of space to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Kitchen was well equipped. The only recommendation for improvement the beds could use mattress toppers as beds are a little firm. Other than that we will definitely stay at this home again.

You do need to provide your own soap, shampoo + conditioner, paper towels and toilet paper - so heads up there. Will be coming back to this house again!
dated furniture and carpet

The TV upstairs was not working, we tried but could not get the TV to work (netflix or prime not working so we had no live TV either), the bedrooms upstairs were cold, no AC/Heat vents, the furniture were old and dated. Had I known the furniture were this old, I would not have selected this house. The 3 star on management company is merely due to shortcoming of the management company to require the owners to replace the carpet and the furniture/rugs to make it up to standard for 2000 per night cost/rent. Additionally, the patio was covered with snow and access to the jacuzzi was dangerous and one of us slipped and fell trying to reach the jacuzzi. In the photo there is a BBQ but we could not see any BBQ in the patio.

Gorgeous View - We would come back!

There were lots of plates, utensils, and fry pans. (it would be nice if there were some scissors) We had thought there was a Bar-B-Q and were a little disappointed when we couldn't find one, but we made due. With such a beautiful view, we were disappointed that some of the windows were boarded up. Also, we had hoped to have been able to sit on the deck, to enjoy the view, but there was no chairs/furniture on the deck. We had a wonderful time!

Amazing House and View

The large deck was perfect to hangout on, grill, and sit in the hot tub while looking at amazing views of the mountain and lake. The house had plenty of room for our group and a large dining table for us to sit at when we weren’t out on the deck. The members pass to Chambers Landing was another great amenity to the stay.

The view was absolutely gorgeous! Definitely a sight to see. The property was perfect for our guest size. There was 10 of us and we all felt comfortable. We had an amazing time. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone!! And I would definitely rent this property again.

The only negative I would say is that the bedrooms heat unevenly during the winter due to the layout of the air ducts. The bottom rooms get much hotter than the upstairs rooms. As a result we kept the upstairs cold at night in order to keep the downstairs bedrooms reasonably cool.

A few items in upstairs bathroom were not working properly (sink stopper, bathtub stopper, and ball-**** mechanism in toilet) and the bathtub stopper was also missing for the downstairs bath. The owner has little notes all over the place about turning off lights, etc, that are very annoying and off-putting at first.

Everyone had their own space in a bedroom and the gathering space (kitchen, living room and dining room) afforded plenty of elbow room for all. Of course the huge decks was an extension of the living space. We had the most amazing views from the house and decks, with plenty of hiking right from our front door. Also we were away from the hub bub of the busy lake area but only a short walk or even shorter drive to get to the beach.Lovely

I was disappointed in the comfort of the beds and the quality of pillow - they were flat and the house would not cool down. We were very hot in the house and since most of the windows in the bedrooms don't open, you can't use the cool evening air to cool it down.

Beautiful views, relaxing hot tub, and our little ones loved playing in the backyard snow. We really felt like we didn't need to go anywhere! The house had everything we needed, and our group of 10 had more than enough space. Skiing at homewood was 6 min away, and we loved the view and happy hour at West shore right across the street. Perfect getaway!

The first level features a great room with kitchen, dining area, and living room with a plush sectional, wood burning fireplace, and flat panel TV. With floor to ceiling picture windows, you may find yourself constantly admiring the views.
The gourmet kitchen has all the extras—granite countertops and tile backsplash, upgraded cabinets, a prep sink, stainless steel appliances including a large gas cooktop, a dishwasher and a wine refrigerator. There is also an island with seating for four. The nearby dining table has seating for eight.
On the same level of this spacious Eagle’s Nest, there are three bedrooms, two with queen-size beds, one with a full size bed and two bathrooms—one full, and one half.
The second floor features two additional bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with a full-size bed. There is a full bathroom. Plenty of bed and bath linens are provided. The loft with second living area has three twin beds, a sofa, two chairs, and a TV.
Summer Guests: You will have access to the Chambers Landing. Chambers Landing is a private beach and tennis club and is available to you while staying at this Homewood Cabin. For your enjoyment you will find sandy beaches, a sparkling heated pool, and tennis courts, all staffed by the Chambers Lifeguard Team. The beach also has a historic bar and pier, and a lakeview casual restaurant. Transportation to the amenities is made easy by catching a ride on the shuttle service. Lake Tahoe has many other features you can enjoy: scenic bicycle trails, golfing, horseback riding, tennis, rafting, hiking, and the mountains right outside your door.(Availability - Typically between Memorial and Labor Day Holidays.)
In addition to Chambers Landing, when you’re ready to venture out, many Lake Tahoe activities and sights are right at your doorstep!
Your home away from home is close to Meeks Bay, with a terrific sandy beach and paddleboard and boat rentals. Located on National Forest Land, the Meeks Bay shoreline is popular for its beautiful scenery, sprawling clean beaches, and easy access. The area offers a high concentration of recreation opportunities including camping, swimming, biking, boating and hiking into the nearby Desolation Wilderness.
You won’t want to miss the icon of Lake Tahoe, Emerald Bay, a short drive away. Emerald Bay State Park boasts 360-degree picturesque views that encompass Emerald Bay, Fannette Island, Eagle Falls, and Vikingsholm Castle.
Just a few miles down the road you’ll find Homewood, Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley Ski Resorts. The Magical West Shore has great winter options: snowshoeing, snowboarding, downhill or cross-country skiing, sledding, and more!
